NOVA / On the Tide

Squidsoup have produced a variety of water-based floating lightworks, using long bespoke floating strands of individually addressable LEDs.

The first such install was at Irvine Harbour’s Illumination Festival (Scotland, 2017). The piece there was called On The Tide.

Subsequent iterations of the project have been shown at Enchanted Forest (Scotland, 2018), Houghton Festival (England, 2018), NOVA at Constellations (Widnes, 2019), and Spectacle of Light (Rufford Abbey and Dalkeith, 2019).
