Where There Is Light
A new installation at Gloucester Cathedral. 16 January – 23 February 2020.
We are incredibly proud to have worked with a wonderful range of organisations on this project, whose aim is to support the work of GARAS, and generate awareness and understanding of the plight of people seeking refuge here in the UK from war, oppression and abuse.
The work presents four testimonies of refugees and asylum seekers, from Sudan, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan. These people tell their stories with such dignity, poise and humility, and show such strength in adversity.
Thanks to GARAS for being there for these people. And thanks to Everyman Theatre and Music Works for recording the testimonies and working with us on this.
Please check the Cathedral Website Calendar before visiting as opening times vary daily
